The Task

We had to design an Ultrasonic Fabric Cutting Machine & Sealing machine that can be attached to the Circular looms for center or side slitting of the PP/HDPE woven fabric having a GSM range of 80-270 GSM.

The Solution

Initially, the client used heat cutters for cutting and sealing, which leads to the formation of a blackish Burr, and moreover, the removal of the Burr leads to the fraying of tapes. While manufacturing FIBC/Jumbo Bags Burrs are not acceptable. These bags were supplied to Food, Chemical, and Pharmaceutical Industries.

To solve the above problem we provided six Ultrasonic Fabric Cutting machines & Sealing machines of 1000w/36KHz that were attached at the center or on the two sides depending on the requirement.

Mobile Adapter/ Charger welding with RTUL’s Ultrasonic Technology

Task The task was to perform ultrasonic welding of the adapter by joining the upper and lower parts of the adaptor with plugs facing upward. The challenge was to weld two numbers of adaptors in a single stroke with plugs. Solution To meet the current requirement of welding two adaptors together in a single stroke, we have designed an appropriate sonotrode with a cavity that ensures adequate transmission of ultrasonic vibrational energy along the joint perimeter. By utilizing a digital ultrasonic welding setup and this specialized horn, we have successfully achieved a solution for welding the current part profile in a single stroke.
