ULTRASONIC SONO-CRYSTALIZATION SYSTEM

The Task We had to design an ultrasonic sonicator to get desired product formation through reaction. The crystal size, size distribution, polymorph, habit, and purity had to be appropriate as per the specifications provided by the client. The Solution We provided a 2 L SS 316 L reactor system with a re-circulating system, and an ultrasonic laboratory system with Hastelloy-made jacketed flow cell, with necessary controller and indicators. The equipment was PLC-controlled and flame-proof as per the IP 65 classification. We had to reduce the particle size of API from D90 42 microns to D90 2.91 microns within 30 minutes. RTUL flow cell sonicator was checked thrice from validating good results from the equipment. HIGHLY EFFICIENT SEALING OF GEO-DRAIN

 The Task To design an ultrasonic sealing system to seal the outer layer of geo-drain which is a nonwoven filtration layer. Geo-drain is widely used in the water drainage system that provides efficient removal of excess moisture and protects the drainage system from clogging and damage. The Solution In this case, the task was completed by providing an entire system that includes a winder to locate the nonwoven filtration layer, a folding arrangement that folds the layer, a continuous sealing attachment that seals the end of the nonwoven layer, and a transport mechanism to move the sealed nonwoven filtration layer over the unwinder roller. The sealing speed of the system is 5 to 20 m/min and the sealing width is 100m. The Task The pouch of powder is very sensitive to heat & normally gets contaminated while heat sealing, The task was to perform accurate ultrasonic sealing without damaging the material. The Solution Heat sealing has been the technology used on many horizontal forms of packaging machines. Mobile Adapter/ Charger welding with RTUL’s Ultrasonic Technology

Task The task was to perform ultrasonic welding of the adapter by joining the upper and lower parts of the adaptor with plugs facing upward. The challenge was to weld two numbers of adaptors in a single stroke with plugs. Solution To meet the current requirement of welding two adaptors together in a single stroke, we have designed an appropriate sonotrode with a cavity that ensures adequate transmission of ultrasonic vibrational energy along the joint perimeter. By utilizing a digital ultrasonic welding setup and this specialized horn, we have successfully achieved a solution for welding the current part profile in a single stroke. Our machines are designed with a modular structure, making them easy to integrate into automated manufacturing systems.
